She is a photographer, movement director, and performer. Her work has been exhibited at Sailor Coffee, 6018|North Gallery, and performed with @theseldoms at The Harris Theater. She recently debuted her first dance commissioned piece at Ruth Page titled, ciclos.

Her work characterizes itself by the meaning behind details and movement; it relies mostly on energy; sharing her representation of inner beauty through the lens of her culture. The root of her creations are mainly influenced by movement, giving an organic flow to her pieces. Through movement, Gabriela makes her pieces experimental and thought provoking. Her exploration as an artist encompasses political topics, mental health, social activism, and the beauty in life.
